Toponym “Egypt” is of the Greek origin. It is derived from the name of the capital of ancient Egypt Memfysu – Hikupta (Het-Ka-Ptah, Het Ka House). These tribes consisted of the Protosemits, Berbers, and Cushites, which mix formed the Egyptian people up to 4 millennium BC. The population growth, which could no longer exist on account of fishing and hunting, accelerated the transition to pastoralism and agriculture. Around the middle of the 4th BC, from the many small territorial subdivisions – nomes – two kingdoms were created: Upper Egypt in the north and Lower Egypt in the south (with the capitals Hierakonpolis and Buto, respectively).
